If you shoot different kinds of scenes, for example interviews at 25 fps with log and B-roll at 50 fps, a preset brings back a whole setup in one tap.
- Set everything up for the first scene: camera, frame size and rate, codec, bitrate, curve and LUT, white balance, sound.
- Open Camera module presets among the quick access buttons and tap +. Give the preset a short name you will recognise, such as "Interview log 25".
- Set up the next scene and save it as another preset.
- To switch, open the list and tap a card. After confirmation the app restarts the screen with the preset's settings and switches to its camera.
ISO, shutter speed, focus and exposure compensation are not part of a preset: they depend on the light at the moment. To change a preset, apply it, adjust the settings and use the card's overwrite button.
Keep in mind that most settings are already stored separately for each camera. If your two setups differ only by lens, switching cameras may be enough.
To move all settings and presets to another phone or keep a backup, use the save and load buttons under Global settings.
