This policy covers the website mcpro24fps.com and its subdomains — the forum, the knowledge base and the licence service — and our email correspondence. Our applications have their own policies: the Privacy Policy for the Android app mcpro24fps, the Privacy Policy for mcpro35mm, and the Privacy Policy for mcpro24fps Meta.
1. Who we are

2. The short version
The site measures its own audience with Google Analytics, and only if you agree to it in the cookie banner. Decline, and no analytics runs at all — the pages work exactly the same.
Beyond that there is no advertising network, no advertising profiling and no third-party tracker. We do not build audiences for anyone, and we sell nothing to anyone. Personal data reaches us only when you send it yourself: through the feedback form, by email, or by registering on the forum.
3. What we process
3.1 Server access log
Every request to the site is recorded by the web server: your IP address, the date and time, the address requested, the response code, the amount of data sent, the page you came from and your browser's identification string. This is how a web server works; without it a site cannot be operated or defended against abuse.
Why: to keep the site running, to diagnose faults and to detect attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in the security and availability of our own service. Retention: logs rotate on the server and are not used for anything else; we do not combine them with other data and we do not build visitor profiles from them.
3.2 Feedback form
The form asks for your name, your email address, a subject and your message. It reaches us as email and stays in our mailbox as ordinary correspondence, and it is also saved in the website's own database: the same four fields together with the IP address the message was sent from, your browser's identification string, a spam flag and the time. A hidden field catches automated spam; if you are a person you never see it.
Why: to answer you, and to keep the form usable when it is attacked by bots — the IP address and the browser string are what make a flood distinguishable from people. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) where your message is about a purchase or support, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f); the anti-spam fields rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the form working. Retention: the email stays in our mailbox for as long as the correspondence is useful as support history; the copy in the website's database is deleted automatically three years after the message was sent. Ask us and we delete both earlier.
3.3 Email
Mail sent to info@mcpro24fps.com is stored in a mailbox on our own server. We read it, answer it, and keep it as support history. Nothing from it is passed to third parties.
3.4 Forum
The forum at forum.mcpro24fps.com runs phpBB. Registration asks for a user name, an email address and a password, which is stored only as a hash. The forum records the IP address of posts — that is how phpBB fights spam and ban evasion. Your posts are public by design.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) — you asked for an account — and Art. 6(1)(f) for the anti-abuse part. Retention: until you ask for the account to be deleted. Posts may remain with the author name removed, so that discussions others rely on do not fall apart; say if you want them removed too and we will consider it.
3.5 Knowledge base
The knowledge base at kb.mcpro24fps.com runs BookStack and is readable without an account. It sets a session cookie and a form-protection token; accounts exist only for us, the editors.
3.6 Licence service
api.mcpro24fps.com serves the licence checks of our photo application mcpro35mm and of RAW Bundle, the in-app purchase of our video application mcpro24fps. What it stores — the account email address, purchase records, installation IDs and a verification log that includes IP addresses — is described in the privacy policy of each application rather than repeated here.
3.7 Embedded video
Video on the site is embedded through youtube-nocookie.com and does not play by itself. Until you press play, YouTube sets nothing. Once you do, Google receives the request under its own privacy policy — that is unavoidable for embedded video, which is why the no-cookie domain is used and nothing starts automatically.
3.8 Website analytics
What: Google Analytics 4 records which pages were opened, in what order and for how long, the approximate region derived from your IP address, the type of device and browser, the language, and the site or search engine you arrived from. It does not receive your name or your email address, and we never send it anything you type into a form.
When: only after you accept in the cookie banner. Until then, and permanently if you decline, the analytics code is not loaded and its cookies are not set.
Why: to see which parts of the guide people actually read and which pages lose them, so that the effort goes where it matters. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given in the banner and withdrawable at any time.
Who processes it: Google Ireland Limited, as our processor, under Google's own terms. Google may transfer data outside the European Economic Area under its standard contractual clauses. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses: the address is used to derive a coarse location and is then discarded.
How to withdraw: use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer and decline; the analytics cookies stop being set and the existing ones stop being used. You can also block them in your browser, or install Google's own opt-out add-on. The cookies involved are listed in the Cookie Policy.

There is no advertising network, no content delivery network and no external consent-management vendor in this list: the banner is our own code, and the only measurement is the one described in 3.8.
5. Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@mcpro24fps.com. You may also complain to the Latvian supervisory authority, Datu valsts inspekcija, https://www.dvi.gov.lv/en, or to the authority of the country where you live.
6. Children
The site and the forum are aimed at people who shoot video professionally or seriously, not at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
7. Changes
Changes appear here with a new date. If we ever add a service that processes more than what is described above, this page and the cookie banner will say so before it starts, not after.
