This End-User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you and CHANTAL PRO SIA, registration number 40103332030, Bebru iela 16–34, Jēkabpils, Jēkabpils nov., LV-5201, Latvia (“we”, “us”), for mcpro24fps RAW Converter (the “Software”), the desktop application for Windows that plays RAW recordings made by mcpro24fps in the .mcpro format and converts them to CineForm video and CinemaDNG. Please read it before installing. By installing or using the Software you agree to be bound by it; if you do not agree, do not install it.
1. How you obtained the Software
The Software is free of charge. It is distributed through the Microsoft Store and as a direct installer from our website. Where you obtained it from a store, that store's terms also govern the transaction itself — the licence entitlement, installation and re-download rights are matters for the store, not for us, and nothing in this Agreement limits the rights the store grants you.
2. Licence granted
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to install and use the Software for your own purposes, personal or commercial, on any number of devices that you own or control. The Software is licensed, not sold; we retain all rights not expressly granted here.
3. What you may do
You may use the Software to view your own recordings in the .mcpro format and to convert them to CineForm video files, CinemaDNG folders and single DNG frames. The files you create with the Software belong to you. We claim no rights over them and place no restriction on their use, commercial use included. You may make copies of the Software for backup purposes.
4. What you may not do
You may not:
- sell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise distribute the Software to third parties, whether alone or as part of another product;
- remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or licence notice contained in the Software or its documentation;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with any licensing, activation or protection mechanism of the Software.
These restrictions apply to the Software as supplied by us. They do not apply to the third-party components described in clause 5, which remain governed by their own licences.
5. Third-party components
The Software includes components developed by third parties under their own licence terms. They are listed, with the notices and licence texts their licences require, in the file THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt installed together with the Software and shown in its About window. Nothing in this Agreement limits, supersedes or modifies any right granted to you by the licence of such a component.
Qt. The Software uses the Qt libraries of The Qt Company under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 3 (“LGPLv3”). Qt is not built into the program: the Qt libraries are separate files (Qt6*.dll and the plugins in the subfolders) in the program folder, and the Software loads them dynamically when it starts. Notwithstanding clause 4, you may:
- modify the Qt libraries for your own use;
- replace the Qt libraries supplied with the Software with your own build of Qt, modified or not, and run the Software with it;
- reverse engineer the Software to the extent necessary to debug such modifications and such a replacement.
The Software does not prevent the replacement: it does not check, verify or lock the Qt libraries it loads. How to replace them, and what a replacement build must be compatible with, is described in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. The full texts of the LGPLv3 and of the GNU General Public License version 3, which it incorporates, are installed with the Software as LGPL-3.0.txt and GPL-3.0.txt.
Source code of Qt. The complete source code of the Qt version distributed with the Software is published by The Qt Company at https://download.qt.io. We also keep copies of it. On written request sent to info@mcpro24fps.com we will provide you with the complete source code of the Qt version distributed with your version of the Software, free of charge, for at least three years after we last distribute that version of the Software. This offer is open to anyone who has received the Software.
Other components. The Software also includes L-SMASH (ISC License), Zstandard (BSD License), libdeflate (MIT License), lj92 (MIT License) and format tables from the CineForm SDK (Apache License 2.0 or MIT License, used here under the MIT License). Their copyright notices and licence texts are reproduced in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. The Microsoft Visual C++ runtime libraries installed with the Software are distributed under Microsoft's licence terms; they are not open source, and you may use them only together with the Software.
6. Privacy
The Software makes no network connections: it sends no telemetry, checks for no updates and has no account. Qt's network library is present only because Qt's audio module depends on it; the Software does not use it. What the Software keeps on your computer, and what the Microsoft Store or our web server sees when you obtain it, is described in the Privacy Policy for mcpro24fps RAW Converter.
7. Updates and support
We may publish new versions through the same channels. An update is covered by this Agreement unless it comes with its own terms. Support is provided at our discretion, and we are not obliged to support indefinitely any operating system version or any particular release.
8. No warranty
The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
The Software reads your recordings and writes new files; it does not modify your source recordings, and it asks before replacing an existing output file or folder of the same name. Even so, keep backups of your material.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or revenue, arising out of the use of or inability to use the Software. In any case our total liability under this Agreement does not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
10. Term, termination, and the rest
This Agreement takes effect when you install the Software and remains in force until terminated. It terminates automatically if you materially breach clause 4. On termination you must stop using the Software and remove all copies. Clauses 5, 8, 9 and 12 survive termination.
This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy for mcpro24fps RAW Converter and the third-party notices, is the entire agreement between us about the Software. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

12. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country.
