There are three ways to get a .mcpro clip into Resolve. All of them work in the free version.
Through the virtual disk
Add the folder with the clips in the disk settings, then import the clip folders from the disk into Resolve as CinemaDNG. The Camera RAW panel gives you white balance, exposure and the rest, as with any RAW. The clips take no extra space, but the disk must stay connected while you edit.
As a CinemaDNG sequence
In Format choose CinemaDNG sequence and convert. You get a folder of DNG frames and a WAV file. It works without the disk or the account, so it suits archiving or handing the clip over. It usually takes more space than the .mcpro clip.
CineForm in a log curve
In Format choose CineForm video (MOV), in Curve choose DaVinci Intermediate or S-Log3. The file is lighter to edit than RAW, and the look (white balance, lens corrections) is already applied. In Resolve, convert the log curve with Color Space Transform: from DaVinci Wide Gamut / DaVinci Intermediate, or from S-Gamut3.Cine / S-Log3, to your timeline.
