This End-User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you and CHANTAL PRO SIA, registration number 40103332030, Bebru iela 16–34, Jēkabpils, Jēkabpils nov., LV-5201, Latvia (“we”, “us”), for mcpro24fps Meta (the “Software”), the desktop application for Windows and macOS. Please read it before installing. By installing or using the Software you agree to be bound by it; if you do not agree, do not install it.
1. How you obtained the Software
The Software is distributed through the Microsoft Store and as direct installers from our website. Where you obtained it from a store, that store's terms also govern the transaction itself — payment, receipts, refunds and re-download rights are matters for the store, not for us, and nothing in this Agreement limits the rights the store grants you.
2. Licence granted
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to install and use the Software for your own purposes, personal or commercial, on any number of devices that you own or control. The Software is licensed, not sold; we retain all rights not expressly granted here.
3. What you may do
You may use the Software to read metadata from your own video files and to create colour lookup tables from them. The files you create with the Software belong to you. We claim no rights over them and place no restriction on their use, commercial use included. You may make copies of the Software for backup purposes.
4. What you may not do
You may not:
- sell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise distribute the Software to third parties, whether alone or as part of another product;
- remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or licence notice contained in the Software or its documentation;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with any licensing, activation or protection mechanism of the Software.
These restrictions apply to the Software as supplied by us. They do not apply to the third-party components described in clause 5, which remain governed by their own licences.
5. Third-party components
The Software includes components developed by third parties under their own licence terms. They are listed, with the notices and licence texts their licences require, in the file THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt installed together with the Software. Nothing in this Agreement limits, supersedes or modifies any right granted to you by the licence of such a component.
Java runtime. The Software runs on a Java runtime built from OpenJDK and OpenJFX, which is installed together with the Software for its own use and is not shared with other software on your system. The runtime is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 with the Classpath Exception; the exception permits the Software to run on it without the Software itself becoming subject to the GPL. The full texts of that licence and of the exception are installed with the runtime, in its legal folder.
Source code of the runtime. The complete corresponding source code of the runtime is published at https://openjdk.org and https://openjfx.io. In addition, on written request sent to info@mcpro24fps.com or to the postal address in clause 11, we will provide you with the complete corresponding source code of the runtime version distributed with your version of the Software, free of charge, for at least three years after we last distribute that version of the Software. This offer is open to anyone who has received the Software.
Other components. JSON-java, used to read the settings block stored in video files, is in the public domain. The Microsoft Visual C++ runtime libraries that come with the Java runtime on Windows are distributed under Microsoft's licence terms; they are not open source, and you may use them only together with the Software.
Components under the GNU Lesser General Public License. The Software currently contains none. If a future version includes one, it will be linked dynamically, and notwithstanding clause 4 you may modify that component for your own use, replace it with your own build of it, and reverse engineer the Software to the extent necessary to debug such modifications; the Software will not prevent you from doing so.
6. Privacy
The Software makes no network connections: it sends no telemetry, checks for no updates and has no account. What the Microsoft Store or our web server sees when you obtain it is described in the Privacy Policy for mcpro24fps Meta.
7. Updates and support
We may publish new versions through the same channels. An update is covered by this Agreement unless it comes with its own terms. Support is provided at our discretion, and we are not obliged to support indefinitely any operating system version or any particular release.
8. No warranty
The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
The Software works on copies of metadata and produces new files; it does not modify your source video files. Even so, keep backups of your material.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or revenue, arising out of the use of or inability to use the Software. In any case our total liability under this Agreement does not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
10. Term, termination, and the rest
This Agreement takes effect when you install the Software and remains in force until terminated. It terminates automatically if you materially breach clause 4. On termination you must stop using the Software and remove all copies. Clauses 5, 8, 9 and 12 survive termination.
This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy for mcpro24fps Meta and the third-party notices, is the entire agreement between us about the Software. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

12. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country.
